MEDTRONIC > TCT 2008 Sphere

This 8-foot floating sphere was surrounded by four projectors which created a seamless image on the sphere.  The client wanted to thank the physicians who have participated in their clinical trials and product development, therefore we created an interesting way to display all 700 doctors’ names.  The soundtrack of the sphere was also synced with the theme video that played on a 3x3 plasma wall.

GENERAL ELECTRIC > NextFest 2005 Sphere

This sphere had two internal projectors which created a seamless image on the 80 inch globe.  It was the only sphere of it’s kind at NextFest, which is a cutting edge public annual tech expo hosted by Wired Magazine.

MEDTRONIC > TCT 2004 Sphere

This 60 inch sphere was the very first.  Attendees wondered how the video was played on the sphere and how the source image was generated.  With one projector within the stand, the sphere played back specifically warped media using Geometer software to create the seamless image.
