The images of Mars from NASA were just becoming available in 2003 and we luckily had early access.  Using the long photo strips provided by NASA, we developed a flyover game.  The player had to locate and match land markings on Mars that look like Earth’s craters, dust devil tracks, dunes, wind streaks and signs of dry river beds (the search for water).

MARS ROVER

The Mars Rover was a practical game where the player could input coordinates and then watch a 24 inch rover maneuver around an enclosed diorama of the landscape of Mars.

Two games were developed for DMNS’ permanent space exhibit.  The Mars Probe was a flyover game with a science research theme, while the Mars Rover was a practical game where the player would program coordinates and then watch a 24 inch toy rover would maneuver around an enclosed diorama of the landscape of Mars.

PREDATOR & PREY

This Flash multiplayer video game lets visitors match wits as they pick their own fictional predator or prey species, and then pick from a series of adaptations and launch them into combat to see who will win, the predator or the prey.

ADAPTER REACTOR

This Flash video game predicts future life forms.  The game lets visitors transform the environment, and see how a common species might evolve over time in response.  The style is fun, cartoonish, and distinctly not scientific.
